DRAFUME TERMS OF USE

✦ What are Drafumes?
Drafumes are aromatic kemonominis that dwell within people's houses. They resemble dragons due to their snake-like, long tail. Drafumes guard the house from evil spirits and protect the family/people that live in with a special  purifier scent emanating from the flower on their tails.

✦ Origins:
Drafumes always appear in a house as soon as it is built, and they are bound for life to the house they are 'born' in.The more good-willed the occupant of the house is, the more powerful the Drafume becomes. However, if they are bad-willed, the Drafume will slowly fall into a deep slumber until it can be awakened by new occupants or their occupant becomes good-willed again. Without a Drafume to ward off bad luck, the house is considered cursed. A Drafume can slumber for eternity if the house becomes abandoned or forgotten. If a house is demolished, the Drafume will fade and cease to exist.
If the occupants are bad-willed and don’t take care of their home, the flower on the Drafume’s tails dies and there is a possibility that they can turn into cursed, Dust Drafumes.

✦ Dust Drafumes:
There is a 10% change that Dust Drafumes are born from Drafumes that have gone into deep slumber. Their flower withers and a new toxic or harmful flower blooms on their tail. They leave a terrible scent and a trail of dust everywhere they go.
Dust Drafumes cannot be purified or reverted back into Drafumes, they cling to the house, making them extremely hard (almost impossible) to get rid of. In most cases, houses occupied by Dust Drafumes need to be demolished as they can't be fixed.

✦ Abilities:
The flower at the end of their tail releases aromas that can change depending on the Drafume's mood and their environment. Drafumes also have the ability to sense and alter other people's feelings. For example, if there is a fight or argument, a Drafume will release calming smells to diffuse the situation. Drafumes can communicate using any language they desire, usually the one that the occupants of the house speak. They are also able to use telepathy to communicate with the occupants of the house, however, it will only work if the occupant truly cares for their home and will listen (bad-willed occupants can't communicate with Drafumes).
The larger the flower the more powerful the Drafume.

✦ Familiars:
Familiars are extremely rare, small, dragon-like creatures that accompany powerful Drafumes. They are only born from very large flowers. If a powerful Drafume becomes a Dust Drafume, their familiar will also transform into a Dust familiar. Familiars act as guardians for their Drafumes. They are closely linked/in tune with nature and are able to make flowers grow at will that are able to ward off bad luck and even deter Dust Drafumes. Dust familiars do the exact opposite, they tend to make flowers wilt and release a pungent smell that deters other Drafumes.

✦ Appearance:

Horns:
  • When a Drafume releases its scent, their horns glow.
  • A Drafume usually has a pair of horns (which are able to be any type) however, unihorns or more than two are considered to be rarer.

Ears:
  • Drafumes can have any type of animal/creature ears.
  • They have a simple flower pattern inside their ears.
  • Simple patterns are standard/common (the more complex the patterns, the rarer it is).
  • Non-flower shapes (e.g. stars) in the pattern are rare.

Tail:
  • All Drafumes have a long, thin tail.
  • Shorter tails or no tails (the flower is attached to their butt), are rarer.
  • Tails with one flower at the tip of the tail are common and can be any color. Two Drafumes can have the same flower however they must be a different colour!
  • Tails with more than one flower is a rare trait.
  • If a tail has multiple flowers of different types it is extremely rare (these are hybrids).
  • Normal Drafumes have non-harmful flowers
  • Dust Drafumes can have thorns, a sting at the tip of the tail or harmful/poisonous flowers.
  • Baby Drafumes have a flower bud at the tip.
  • Large flowers are very rare.

Eyes:
  • Heterochromia eyes, glowing or colored sclera are the only rare traits.

Mouth/Teeth:
  • Dust Drafumes can have pointy teeth.

Wings:
  • Wings are extremely rare only the highest of rank/most powerful Drafume possess it.
  • Dust Drafumes have bat wings while (non-Dust) Drafumes have angel wings.
  • A Drafume's wings are able to make strong gusts of wind that can spread the scent they emit even further, making the aroma stronger and more effective.
